Through rose gold colored glasses.

That's how I see the world! I'm an optimist! I use a lot of exclamation points! Ok, sorry. Ahem. Life is great and there are so many things to be happy about. I've been accused of seeing the world through rose colored glasses, and I must admit, if I could find any cat-eye style, I'd wear 'em.

Some things that make me happy are my husband, summer, pistachios, my family, Jesus, shoes, James Taylor, and lots of other stuff... not necessarily in that order! You know what makes me really happy? Like, makes my heart race a little?

Rings.

Engagement rings.
I love them.
Obsessed.
I write an entire blog about them.

I began this obsession when I was falling in love with James, my husband. Mmmm... I was pretty sure I was going to marry him, so I started looking at rings. Don't judge! Maybe I was presumptuous, but we said "I love you" after about 3 weeks of dating! I was convinced I would marry him when he whispered those three words into my ear in the back of his dad's pickup truck. And darnit, I was right!

Aaaanyway.

The obsession. I looked all over the internet to gain a sense of what I wanted. When we decided we were ready to get hitched, James told me to pick out a ring. Wahooo! I had been looking for months, but really I had just been falling in love over and over and over with all sorts of different engagement rings! I couldn't make my mind up. I couldn't decide what metal I wanted, what color of stone I wanted, what style I wanted. I loved them all.

Then...
Just then...
Among all of the beautiful baubles...

Rose gold.

It was perfect for me. I had never seen anything like it, which was exactly what I was looking for! I needed something unique and special. Something that would represent my love for James but also reflect my personality. And I found it in this rose gold ring.

This blog is about helping you find the ring that is perfect for you. Asking the right questions and getting some answers. Helping you realize that there's so much more out there than a white diamond solitaire. Being happy! And most importantly, celebrating love.

Let's have some fun!
